Central Texas Electric Cooperative is proud to recognize two board members for recently completing advanced education programs through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association.
Director Connie Stockbridge earned her Board Leadership Certificate through a program designed to strengthen governance skills and help cooperative leaders navigate the evolving energy landscape. The BLC curriculum focuses on topics such as strategic planning, financial oversight, technology trends and member engagement—equipping directors with the tools they need to make informed decisions on behalf of members.
Director Fermin Ortiz achieved the prestigious Director Gold Credential, the highest credential offered by NRECA. This designation recognizes directors who have already completed the Credentialed Cooperative Director and Board Leadership certificates and continue to pursue professional development. Earning this credential demonstrates an ongoing commitment to excellence and to understanding the complex issues facing today’s electric cooperatives.
CTEC Board President Mark Hahn joined in celebrating both directors’ accomplishments.
“We’re fortunate to have directors like Connie and Fermin who take their roles seriously and invest the time to continually learn and grow,” Hahn said. “Their dedication reflects the cooperative principle of education, training and information, and ultimately benefits all our members.”
