CTEC Operation Round-Up Awards Grant to Family Resource Center

The Operation Round-Up Board of Directors at Central Texas Electric Cooperative approved a $2,500 grant to support the Family Resource Network, a nonprofit organization serving Mason and the surrounding area.

The Family Resource Network is dedicated to strengthening families and building a healthier community by connecting people with the resources and support they need. Their mission is to provide assistance, education and outreach for individuals of all ages, with a focus on helping families overcome challenges and thrive.

Through programs that include parenting support, youth development, crisis assistance and community partnerships, the Family Resource Network works to ensure that Mason County residents have access to tools that promote stability and well-being. By collaborating with local agencies, schools and service providers, they offer guidance, resources and hands-on help tailored to meet the unique needs of families in the Hill Country.

Since its founding, the Family Resource Network has played a vital role in creating a stronger, more connected community, helping neighbors support one another through times of need while fostering opportunities for growth and success.

The Operation Round-Up grant is possible because of CTEC members who voluntarily participate in the program. By having their monthly electric bills rounded up to the next whole dollar, enrolled co-op members have been able to make a difference in the lives of neighbors in their communities.
