Starting in January, Central Texas Electric Cooperative will offer a levelized billing payment option to qualifying members who want a more predictable monthly bill, no matter what the Hill Country weather brings.

How It Works
Levelized billing evens out your payments by using a rolling average of your electric usage and billing history over the past 12 months.
Instead of paying a dramatically higher bill in the summer and a much lower one in the spring or fall, you’ll pay roughly the same amount each month.
The result? A smoother, steadier monthly payment that takes the peaks and valleys out of your billing cycle.

Who Can Enroll
CTEC’s levelized billing program is available to members who meet the following requirements.
- Must have 12 months of billing history at their current service location
- Must have an account in good standing, with no delinquent payments
- Must sign a levelized billing agreement to participate
