Central Texas Electric Cooperative warmly invites our members to attend this year’s Annual Meeting—an important opportunity to come together, stay informed, and participate in the cooperative process. This gathering is more than a business meeting; it is a chance to connect with fellow members, learn about the cooperative’s progress, and celebrate the shared commitment that powers our communities.
As a member-owned cooperative, Central Texas Electric Cooperative is guided by the people it serves. Every member has a voice, and the Annual Meeting is a meaningful expression of Cooperative Principle No. 2: Democratic Member Control. It provides an opportunity to learn more about the cooperative’s performance, strategic direction, and future while participating in the democratic process that helps shape our organization.
We invite you to join us on August 18 at the Hangar Hotel and Conference Center for an evening of information, fellowship, and community engagement. Registration starts at 5:00 p.m., and the meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m.
During the meeting, members will have the opportunity to vote for three director positions. The candidates are Todd Dennis (District 4), Tim Lehmburg (District 5), and Kayla Forehand (District 6). In addition to conducting cooperative business, we will celebrate a special milestone by inducting one of our employees into the 40 Plus Club and recognize outgoing Director James Low for his 12 years of dedicated service and leadership on the Board of Directors.
As always, attendees will have the chance to win a variety of door prizes and learn more about our Operation Round Up program, with opportunities to enroll during the event.
