Cooperative members interested in running for a seat on the co-op’s board of directors should pay special attention to the rapidly approaching March 16 deadline.
Board seats will be open in Gillespie, Llano and San Saba counties. Any person seeking nomination at a district meeting must submit an application and petition signed by at least 10 members in his or her district by March 16. The deadline is in accordance with Article III of the CTEC bylaws, which detail the director selection process.
Applications and petition forms are available at the CTEC headquarters office in Fredericksburg.
