CTEC members in the Hilda area
Beginning in mid-August 2026, weather permitting, Townsend crews will conduct right-of-way maintenance along existing power lines in the Hilda area.
Work will take place along Highway 29 East toward Art, Highway 87 South to Hilda, RR 1723 South, RR 2389, Eckert Road, Keller Road, Simonsville Road, Kethner Williams Road and Keller Velino Road.
Crews will use skid steers with mowing heads, bucket trucks and pickups. The project is expected to take approximately 9 to 12 months to complete.

CTEC members on Substation 21 (Jack Furmann) Feeder 1 (Ingram Hills) – area includes the southern end of Ingram Hills Drive before Yavo Road, Westwood Oaks Subdivision, Kerrville Ranchettes Subdivision, The Crossing Mobile Home Park, and the north end of Enchanted Valley Road.
CTEC has contracted with TUIS to inspect Substation 21 (Jack Furmann) Feeder 1 (Ingram Hills) beginning late July 2026, weather permitting.
The project is expected to last six to eight months. Crews will inspect poles, power lines, electrical equipment, vegetation, and overall system integrity using pickup trucks and utility task vehicles (UTVs).

CTEC members on Substation 4, Feeder 2 in and around Fall Branch Estates, Turner Road West, Hoot Owl Park, Littlefield Road, Henderson Branch Road West, Fall Branch Road West, and Plummer Ranch Road West

Crews will inspect poles, power lines, electrical equipment, and vegetation in the following areas: Fall Branch Estates, Turner Road West, Hoot Owl Park, Littlefield Road, Henderson Branch Road West, Fall Branch Road West, and Plummer Ranch Road West.
During this time, you may see crews using pickup trucks and utility task vehicles (UTVs).

CTEC members along Ingram Loop, Brushy Hollow Subdivision, Ingram Hills Road north of Yavo Road, High Pointe Subdivision, and the northern portion of Cimmaron Road.
Central Texas Electric Cooperative (CTEC) will begin a system inspection project in the Ingram East area beginning June 15, 2026, with work expected to take approximately 3 to 6 months to complete, weather permitting.
The inspection area includes locations southeast of the Ingram Substation. Crews will inspect poles, hardware, vegetation and the overall integrity of the electric system to help maintain reliable service for our members.

CTEC members in the Luckenbach/Grapetown Area
In keeping with our commitment to provide reliable service to our members, contract crews will be reconducting and respanning power lines in your area.
Work will be done by Sendero and will begin at the end of January 2026, and the project should be completed by October 2026.

CTEC members in the Comfort area
In keeping with our commitment to providing reliable service to our members, CTEC has been working on a voltage conversion project in your area.
Work will begin late May 2026 around James Avery north of Comfort and going southwest to Bartel Road, Cypress Creek Road and Lower Dietert Road to Old Cypress Creek Road and FM 1341 to the Clyde Hole Kamp property at Hassenwinkle Road
Contract crews will be clearing rights of ways and replacing and adding poles, replacing hardware and installing new transformers and anchor guy wires.

CTEC Members in the area between Harper Substation and Doss-Spring Creek Road, Reeh Road, and Highway 290
In keeping with our commitment to provide reliable service to our members, crews from James Power Line will be Rebuilding existing three phase and single phase with new poles, wire and transformers and converting the line voltage from 7200 kv to 14,400 kv.

CTEC members in Llano and Cherokee areas
In keeping with our commitment to provide reliable service to our members, contract crews will be mowing existing right-of-way in the Llano and Cherokee areas. Work will begin February 2025, and the project will be complete approximately mid-2027. Work will start in Llano and move north towards Cherokee.
